RULES AND REGULATIONS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the following rules and regulations carefully. By signing this document, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these rules during your stay.

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL GUESTS

• Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is 3:00 PM; check-out time is 12:00 PM.
• Identification: A valid government-issued ID must be surrendered to the Isla Rivière staff upon check-in. The ID will be safely kept and returned to the guest upon successful check-out.
• Early check-in may be accommodated upon request and subject to availability.
• Late Check-Out up to 1:00 PM may be accommodated upon request and subject to availability.
• Late Check-Out Fees: For check-outs later than 1:00 PM, the following hourly rates apply:
  • Big Dome: ₱600/hour
  • Small Dome: ₱300/hour
  • Tent Village: ₱300/hour
  If guests check out later than 3:00 PM, ONE WHOLE NIGHT rate will be charged.
• Capacity Limits: Please adhere to capacity limits for your safety and comfort:
  • Big Dome: Maximum of 9 guests.
  • Small Dome (Domes 1, 2, 3): Maximum of 4 guests per dome.
• Cleanliness:
  • Guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness within their domes/tents and surrounding areas.
  • Please ensure all trash is properly disposed of in designated bins. Guests should not leave litter or waste in the outdoor areas, pool area, or river.
  • Penalty: Guests will be charged ₱1,000.00 if excessive trashing, litter, or waste is left at the property. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Isla Rivière clean and green.
• Natural Environment Protection:
  • Do not disturb or damage the natural surroundings, including trees, plants, and wildlife.
  • Guests are responsible for ensuring no harm is caused to the natural surroundings during their stay.

POOL AND JACUZZI GUIDELINES

• Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
• Hygiene & Safety:
  • Shower before entering the pool or Jacuzzi.
  • No swimming if you have an open wound or contagious disease.
  • Please use the restroom, not the pool, for bathroom needs.
  • No diving or jumping. The pool is shallow.
  • No running or rough play around the pool area.
  • No glass containers or sharp objects near the pool or Jacuzzi.
• Behavior:
  • No food, drinks, or pets in the pool or Jacuzzi.
  • No smoking or vaping in the pool area.
  • Do not tamper with the pool or Jacuzzi equipment. Use the pool ladder for safe entry and exit.

AMENITIES USE

• Outdoor Kitchen & BBQ Grill: Guests are welcome to use these facilities. Charcoal is provided. Please clean up after use.
• Kitchen Utensils and Appliances: Each accommodation is equipped with kitchen essentials (rice cooker, kettle, utensils). Please handle them with care.
• Outdoor Projector and Movie Nights: Available for use. Please contact the caretaker for assistance with setup for movie nights or karaoke.
• Water Usage: The water from the faucet is NOT SAFE FOR DRINKING. Use it only for washing hands and cleaning.

ACTIVITIES

• River Trekking and Swimming: Be cautious. Supervise children closely and wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain.
• Fruit Picking: (Guyabano, santol, mangga) Allowed only upon Isla Admin's approval. Please message us to secure permission and ask our caretaker for assistance.
• Campfire:
  • An adult must supervise the campfire at all times.
  • Extinguish the fire completely with water or sand before leaving the area.
  • Only use provided firewood; do not gather wood from the surrounding environment.
  • Do not burn trash, plastic, or non-wood materials.

PROPERTY CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Respect for Property: Guests are expected to treat all property, furniture, and equipment with care.
• Damage: Any intentional damage will result in the immediate termination of the stay without a refund. Guests will be held liable for repair or replacement costs.
• Reporting: Accidental damages must be reported to Isla Management immediately. Failure to report may result in additional charges or deduction from the security deposit.

PET POLICY

• Pet Diapers: For the cleanliness of the island and accommodations, all pets are required to wear diapers at all times. For your convenience, pet diapers are available for purchase from our staff.
• Behavior: Pets should be well-behaved, housebroken, and non-aggressive. Vaccinations should be up to date for the safety of all guests and resident farm animals.
• Cleanup: Guests must clean up after their pets. Please bring your own waste bags.
• Restrictions: Pets are not allowed on furniture, in swimming pools/jacuzzi, or in bathrooms.
• Safety: Do not leave pets unattended, as the river and farm animals may pose risks to your pets.
• Fees: Any damages, excessive dirt, or urine/waste marking inside the domes or tents will be charged upon check-out.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

This document serves as a formal Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement concerning the use of all facilities, amenities, and natural surroundings at Isla Rivière. By signing or electronically accepting this agreement, I acknowledge and affirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms outlined herein. My participation in the use of Isla Rivière’s premises and services is entirely voluntary, and I fully assume the risks involved.

I hereby expressly agree to release and hold harmless Isla Rivière, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with any injury, illness, death, property damage, or other loss that may occur as a result of my stay or use of the facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, accidents occurring in or around swimming pools, pathways, recreational areas, dining spaces, or lodging accommodations.

I acknowledge and accept that the facilities and services provided, though maintained with reasonable care and safety measures, may involve certain inherent risks. These may include—but are not limited to—slippery surfaces, tripping hazards, sharp objects, water-related dangers, structural elements, and unforeseen incidents in shared or private spaces. I am aware that Isla Rivière cannot eliminate all risks, and I agree that I am personally responsible for exercising caution at all times.

I understand that the surrounding natural environment may present additional hazards, such as uneven terrain, rocky areas, sudden weather changes, falling branches, strong winds, or encounters with local flora and fauna. Isla Rivière will take reasonable efforts to alert guests of known dangers but is not liable for incidents arising from the inherent unpredictability of nature.

This waiver extends to and covers all individuals who are part of my booking or under my care during our stay at Isla Rivière, including but not limited to family members, children, friends, companions, dependents, and other guests. I affirm that I have the authority to sign on behalf of these individuals and assume full responsibility for their safety, behavior, and actions while on the premises. In the case of minors, I confirm that I am their parent or legal guardian, or have been authorized by such, to act on their behalf.

I further agree to:

• Properly supervise any children or dependents in my group.
• Ensure that all guests under my care follow safety rules and resort policies.
• Accept full liability for any damages, injuries, or issues caused by or affecting members of my group.

I also understand and acknowledge that:

• Pets brought onto the property must be properly supervised, and any harm, illness, or damage caused by or to pets is the sole responsibility of the pet owner or handler.
• Personal belongings must be secured by the guest at all times. Isla Rivière shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to valuables, electronic devices, luggage, or other possessions left unattended in common areas or private accommodations.

By entering Isla Rivière’s premises, I confirm that I and all individuals in my party are in good physical condition and capable of using the facilities responsibly. I agree that all members of my group will abide by all safety guidelines, policies, and instructions provided by Isla Rivière staff. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund or recourse.

I expressly waive and relinquish any and all claims for damages or liability, including claims based on ordinary negligence, whether caused by the action or inaction of Isla Rivière or any third party. This waiver does not apply in cases of gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct as defined by law.

This waiver and release shall be binding upon myself, my heirs, successors, legal representatives, and assigns. It is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines or any other jurisdiction in which a claim may be brought.

By signing or electronically acknowledging this document, I confirm that I have read and fully understood its contents. I understand that this is a legally binding release of liability and voluntarily accept all terms without coercion or pressure. I also acknowledge that I may consult with legal counsel prior to agreeing, should I choose to do so.
